A pump is a device that moves fluids, liquids, gases or sometimes slurries by mechanical action by using energy sources, including manual operation, electricity, engines or wind power. Filtration is a mechanical or physical operation which is used for the separation of solids from fluids by interposing a medium through which only the fluid can pass.
