Punches, Chisels & Engravers

A punch is a hard metal rod with a sharp tip at one end and a blunt butt end at the other, which is usually struck by a hammer. A chisel is a long-bladed hand tool with a beveled cutting edge and a handle which is struck with a hammer or mallet, used to cut or shape wood, stone, or metal. An engraver is a tool used for incising a design onto a hard, usually flat surface by cutting grooves into it.
